Biscuits and Smartphone, not a natural pairing and when it comes to scientific proof it are not exactly the same as owning a micrometer. However, the Nokia 700 arrived late the other day, just when we were having a cheeky little afternoon tea break and seeing the two on the desk gave us an idea – how slim is the Nokia 700 really?

Well, it is proved to be exactly that Nokia 700 has the same size with a Tesco chocolate biscuit bar. This set us thinking, are there other treats and snacks out there that the Nokia 700 is slimmer than.

Nokia Store 3.16.036, which is the brand spanking look and feel to the store previously known as ‘Ovi‘. The great thing is that it finally arrive on our Nokia N8 over the weekend. Now we have a look at the new Nokia Store 3.16.036 on our Nokia N8.

We know details of the Nokia Store3.16.036 update appeared several weeks ago but as is the way with updates it often takes that long for them to roll out around the world. We found that Nokia Store 3.16.036 appeared on our Nokia N8 and we immediately jumped on the chance to get the update up and running.

Weighing in at 6.4Mb, we found the Nokia Store3.16.036 install easily and quickly to update. It is not just the Ovi branding that has gone but you’ll find the store is finished in Nokia blue rather than the green of Ovi.

The main page consists of Featured apps ready to download for you. Meanwhile, the main controls can be found running along the bottom of the page and consist of four items: Home, Search, Categories and My Stuff. The items and layout has pretty much the feel we’ll come to know as Symbian Belle, so is a great first taste of what you expect.

Once you start to drill down and you’ll find that the Nokia Store works in pretty is much the same way just with odd tweaks and design changes. For example, if there is an update ready for one or more of your installed apps you’ll find the My Stuff item gets a small number above it to show that updates are ready, which is a really nice touch.

We found that Nokia Store loaded quickly on Nokia N8, at least we hope we are not just imagining it, and the general interface is so smoother. You can view the store in Portrait as well as Landscape, but we found that the former was easier to navigate when searching, as you can get more on the page.

If you are not got the Nokia Store3.16.036 update on your Symbian Anna Smartphone yet, it is worth keeping an eye out for as it is a bold step forward for the apps store. If you have already got it and spotted something neat you had like to share?

While the world excitedly waits for news of the first Nokia Windows Phone and enjoys stunning new releases, such as the Nokia 700, although a large number of people still don’t want or have access to the latest cutting-edge smartphones. No matter, here we look at Nokia feature phones how to keep getting smarter.

With Nokia’s technology constantly evolvement, which make our smartphones smarter than ever, it is not just the more expensive end of the market that benefits from the latest developments. With technology continually trickling down to more affordable handsets, entry-level Nokia phones are getting smarter and smarter all the time, bringing a range of high-quality technologies and features to even the most affordable Nokia handset.

Near Field Communication (NFC) and Microsoft’s Windows Phone 7.5 Mango update, As the latest features, arrive at the top end of the smartphone market, this allows older technologies to become more affordable further down the technology food-chain. So, what were once seen as the cutting-edge mobile technologies can be offered at a much lower price, bringing previously flagship features to affordable handsets, and delivering fantastic value to consumers that aren’t concerned with premium prices or features.

Nokia is consistently proving just how successfully this ‘trickle-down effect’ works, as many of its more affordable handsets now offer an astounding array of technologies at truly low prices. For example, the Nokia 6700 Classic, which was a £270 Series 40 phone back in 2009 now shares many of it’s top-tech with the Nokia C3-01 Touch and Type, the difference being this model costs £130 (inc. VAT).

It you want a touchscreen device that feels and acts like a smartphone, the Nokia 500 is a great example. Following on from Nokia phones such as the Nokia 5800, the Nokia 500 packs a 3.2-inch touchscreen,802.11g Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.1 and up to 32GB of storage, making it ideal for all but the most demanding smartphone user. And with its switchable, coloured covers, it also looks great and lets you customise the design, depending on your taste.

If we’re talking real entry-level devices, however, then the £80 (inc. VAT) Nokia C2-02 is a truly value-packed handset. Its combination of touch and type interfaces makes it a great choice for new smartphone users that are used to using a keypad, while the pre-installed Nokia Maps provide easy navigation, without the need for GPS. Add the eye-catching, icon-based interface and smooth touch usability and you’ve got yourself a fantastic bargain.

With phones such as the Nokia C2-01 costing around £50 and packing in a 3.2MP camera, 4x digital zoom, Bluetooth 2.1, full audio and video playback and video recording functionality, the almost phone user can get everything they need at a staggeringly low price. And Nokia certainly doesn’t just re-work its old ideas into new phones, either. For example, the Nokia X1-01 introduces dual-SIM capabilities to a market that has been crying out for an ideal solution.

Now, there is a debate on which has the best camera , Nokia N8 or Apple iPhone 4S. Developers of Apple had claims that the iPhone camera is best ever on a phone. But many others don’t think so. Some believe the Nokia N8’s camera is far more advanced than Apple iPhone 4S.

With the Nokia N8’s supporting 12-Megapixel camera, Carl Zeiss lens-equipped offering, compared to the Apple iPhone 4S only sporting a humble 8-Megapixel camera.there’s no doubt which one is best.

As well as discussing the Nokia N8’s Carl Zeiss lens, Neutral Density filter and Xenon flash, Steve managed to show how the N8’s 720p HD video capture beats the iPhone 4S, and even delivers an all-inclusive comparison of how five of the world’s top smartphone cameras stack up against each other. The verdict is in; the Nokia N8 is still officially the world’s best camera-phone!

What do you think of the Nokia N8 and the Apple iPhone 4S camera? Are you impressed by everything that it has to offer or do you agree that the Nokia N8 is still the camera-phone to beat? Why not let us know your thought in the Comments below.

Nokia N72 has an available microSD card。The memory card can increase the Nokia N72 memory and storage capabilities. You can download music, pictures etc in the memory card. However,if the memory card does not work correctly, the trouble is more great. How to Fix a Memory Card for Nokia N72?Please follow the below steps:

Ensure the microSD card is not locked. Eject the microSD card from the Nokia N72, and check the small write-protection switch on the side of the card. If the switch is in the down position, it means the write protection is activated and you are not able to save additional files to the device. Push the switch to the up position to unlock it.

Check the metal connector pad on the bottom of the microSD card. Ensure that the connector pad does not have fingerprints or dirt. If there is dirt on the pad, the cell phone can’t read information from the card. Clean the metal connector with a soft cloth until all of the dirt is gone.

Use compressed air. Spray a few shots of compressed air into the open microSD port on the Nokia N72. If the port is dusty or dirty, the phone is unable to read the card. The compressed air helps remove dirt that is stuck in the port.

Insert the microSD card into an SD card adapter. The adapter allows you to use the microSD card in standard SD card slots. Connect the SD card reader to a USB port on your computer (if the computer does not have an SD card slot). Insert the SD card adapter into the card slot, and momentarily the computer will state that it has detected a new, removable device. Click “Start,” choose “Computer” and right-click the removable-device icon. If the card does not load at all, it means some data on the card is corrupt. To fix this, you must reformat the card. Select “Format” from the pull-down menu and click “OK” to reformat the microSD card back to its original factory state.
